ORBIT NETWORK:

Orbit is Solartron's RS485 network with 'Plug and Go' compatibility. Devices can be used in any combination in any position and each is automatically given a unique address. Connection can be made to:

1. A PC using the Orbit Network Card
2. A PC or PLC using the RS232 Interface Module
3. A Solartron Digital Readout

Accessories:

  • Orbit Network Card
  • USB Interface Module (USBIM)
  • RS232 Interface Module
  • Digital Readout
  • Digital Input/Output Module (DIOM)
  • Analogue Input Module (AIM)
  • Encoder Input Module (EIM)
  • Happy Light
  • Power Supply Interface Module (PSIM)

Software
Support software for Windows 95/98/2000/XP/NT, Windows 3.x and DOS is supplied with the Orbit Network Card and RS232 Interface Module.

Orbit Excel Support Pack
The Orbit Excel Support Pack enables the user to take readings from the Orbit Network and place values into the cells of a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.

Systems Build
Orbit is a simple solution to building measurement systems without incurring the high costs normally associated with bespoke networks. The linear encoder PIE has a "D-Type" connector - which slots neatly into the "T-Con" connector. The T-Con is an ingenious accessory that can be used individually, daisy chained using standard computer cable, or banked together in blocks to form a multi-channel nest.
A positive locking mechanism on the T-Con prevents the PIE connector being accidentally dislodged while allowing instant removal and replacement.

Orbit is a trademark of Solartron Metrology Ltd.

PHOTOELECTRIC SENSOR:

Yamatake's photoelectric sensors demonstrate the superiority of the company's sophisticated technologies and applications expertise. We work with customers in the semiconductor and electronics assembly industries to find efficient, cost-effective solutions. An example is the HPX-ET: suited for both gang-mount and remote applications, it offers 7 tuning modes and a maximum resolution of 1/640,000, making it unrivalled in the market. Similarly advanced are the HPX-NT and HPL Series, the latter representing the world's smallest background-suppression photoelectric sensor with built-in amplifier.

HPX-ET Series Features:

HPX-NT Series Features:

  • Reduced Wiring
  • Dispersed Remote
  • 5 Tuning Modes
  • Easy Operation
  • High Resolution
  • Clear Indicators
  • Space-saving Design
  • OP & Timer Adjustment
  • Slide Connector
  • Mutual Interference Protection
  • 3 Detection Modes
  • 7 Tuning Modes
  • Relative Level Indication

Other Sensors:

  • Proximity Sensors
  • Laser & Vision Sensors

SWITCHES:

The operating life of a limit switch in actual site operating environments is substantially different to that in the manufacturer's laboratory. At Yamatake, we have analyzed products returned from actual usage, and repeated actions taken and our testing.
Additionally, we carry out accelerated testing, and confirm the effectiveness of our measures. As a result, we have achieved an "actual usage" operating life of three times longer than our previous products.
